Shoulder Season is half love letter to Iceland, and half the story of Ben who has just broken up with his horrible boyfriend and finds himself alone on vacation in a country he's not familiar with.

There, he meets Mr. Icelandic God (who also goes by the name of Solvin) and together the two explore Solvin's native country, eat some great Icelandic delicacies, and slowly and sweetly fall in love.
